Under general supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the Environmental Service Worker (EVS) is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and vision of the organization and within scope of services of the Facilities Department. The EVS worker is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of comfort and cleanliness in the buildings and areas used by our patients, visitors and staff. At all times, duties are performed conscientiously in a safe and efficient manner, including meeting "Blood-borne Pathogens procedures and taking ownership and responsibility for the areas assigned and keeping customer expectations in mind. The Environmental Service Worker may be expected to make basic repairs or modifications to our buildings as necessary.

Under the leadership of the Director of Social Services, the Associate Director of Home Care Services coordinates the delivery and/or referral of social, medical, psycho social and/or in home services to persons living with HIV infection. This is accomplished through a staff of RNCMs and SWCMs in a manner consistent with the Policies and Procedures of the D.A.P. and related program protocols. The Associate Director coordinates clients’ initial evaluation and accommodates changes in schedule and duties as client and staff needs change. They also fill the Project Director responsibilities for the MediCal Waiver Program contract with the State Office of AIDS.

The Warehouse Assistant, under the direction of the Warehouse Assistant Manager, is responsible for performing tasks related to receiving product, stocking and replenishment, and inventory control. This includes safely unloading trucks and unpacking received product, comparing the purchase order to the product received for accuracy, counting quantities of product received and ensuring the quality of the product is at an acceptable level, and removing damaged or non-conforming product. In addition, this position safely transfers material from receiving area to warehouse or dispensing locations and ensures proper stock rotation.
